The only time I gained money was from accidentally going into battle with just a palace, mine, and farm built. There are some many things in this game that are unclear even in the tutorials. My hat is off to those who figured it out. I got seriously bored 10 minutes into the game and my resources didn't go up for squat.

Plus there's no retreat? Not impressed at all with this game.

"Could have been better."

Controls seemed a touch sluggish, the story is corny (even by Swain standards), I think the title of the game could have been a bit more original than the old school teasing of Japanese kids. You could have named the game something just as silly without the Ching Chong reference.

As for the game itself, it held my interest for about 7 minutes, then it fizzled. It's real repetitive, at times frustrating, and visually mediocre for the level of talent that made this game. Not everyone has seen Japanese game shows, so you've limited the parody appreciation to a small part of the Newgrounds crowd.

I noticed that you already presumed people would complain about this game, so don't feel to bad if people troll you in the reviews.

"Tribal Wars anyone?"

This game is pretty much a single player version of the game Tribal Wars. The landscape is a bit much, and the buildings consume too much space too fast. The combat engine was either set up to make you lose or you didn't test play this enough. Another down side is the amount time it takes to get resources and troops. Flash gamers don't wanna play a browser game, they want something a bit more upbeat and quicker. The longevity of the game is nice, but you could spend a whole summer just with one game.

I wouldn't shy anyone away from this game though. It isn't completely disappointing. Just the vital parts. heh

"Am I missing something?"

Ok, overall, the game is nice in its presentation, the use of Blizzard sound effects, etc. But it loses its charm rather quickly with quite a few things.

1) The leveling system allows no customization for your main guy.
2) The game is stingy with money and items worth money or offense/defense items.
3) You are dependent on drops to get a heal, you can't buy any potions in town or get a heal from any of the NPCs.
4) I couldn't get the wizard nor the dragon to attack anything, all they did is watch me get smacked around.
5) The blacksmith charges you to just look at what he has to sell? Really? Really? Sorry, that is completely dumb. Especially with how cheap the drops are.

This game has potential, and could be a lot better. A bigger map would have been nice too. You may as well have called this game Arena Battle.

"Snoozeville"

I got out in just 4 moves. What was the challenge? There were no puzzles to solve (other than getting out), not story why you're in a maze, no obstacles to overcome, no bad guys to slaughter, no gore, and heck the ending was a photo of the woods? Wow, if I had spent more than 1 minute on this game and realized that was the end prize, I'd be pissed. Even for a first attempt, did you honestly play it and say, "Would I really enjoy this game? Would my friends? What are people raving about here on Newgrounds that is considered awesome?"

This was more like you dumping your training files here, to serve as filler to be honest.

Better luck next time, and please think about what I said.

I fished the comments for hints, but all of them come up bogus so far. Between the red and green house, in or near a barrel. Well one has stagnant water, the other has "verifies something in it" but it is empty? No key appears in my inventory. I hunted all over for 30 minutes and kept clicking the spacebar. Nada. The author claims there is a sparkle, I see nothing. Waste of time. :\

"Mixed feelings about this game"

I find it really odd, a merc ship is on a road to a town with no crime. And it seems like I am locked in the game, because every trip I take I encounter them. What am I doing wrong? I'd give a better rating if the game had a better logic to the crime rate. Other than that, the game seems ok. I guess.
